The first ever transgender Miss Universe contestant is now the odds-on favorite to win, and according to some bookmakers, it’s not even close. And the would-be Miss Universe is using the platform to send not just a “message” to Trump, but the world.

After winning the 2018 Miss Universe Spain pageant, Angela Ponce, a biological male who has undergone gender reassignment surgery and hormone therapy, has not only become the first trans contestant in the Miss Universe competition, but the odds makers’ hands-down favorite.

“As the competition nears, online bookies are taking action, and Ponce has grown to become the clear favorite with current odds of +600,” The Blast reports. “The folks at compiled their list of where all the countries currently stand. To put it in perspective, the Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers has odds of +2,000 if she wins the whole competition.”

As the gamblers put money on Ponce, the trans contestant has been using the press leading up to the December 16 contest to promote the transgender movement.

Asked by Time if the inclusion of a transgender contestant in this year’s competition would send a message to Trump, the former owner of Miss Universe, Ponce said, “More than a message to him, it would be a win for human rights.”

“Trans women have been persecuted and erased for so long. If they give me the crown, it would show trans women are just as much women as cis women,” said Ponce, who claims to have identified as female at the age of three.

Miss Universe announced in 2012 that it would allow biologically male contestants who identified as women after a successful lawsuit by a Canadian transgender model, Jenna Talackova, the Daily Mail notes.

After losing to Miss Barcelona Mireia Lalaguna in 2015, Ponce ran again in 2018 and won the top prize. “My goal is to be a spokesperson for a message of inclusion, respect and diversity not only for the LGBTQ+ community but also for the entire world,” Ponce wrote in an Instagram post after winning.

Here’s video of the event posted by Pageant Zone:

Ponce’s win in Spain is not the first time a man who identifies as a women has won a high-profile female-exclusive contest. The most famous instance came in 2015, when Caitlyn Jenner, 66, won one of Glamour’s “Women of the Year” awards. In Jenner’s acceptance speech, the gold medal winner in the male Olympic decathlon said, “For years and years, I never felt like I fit in anywhere. I always felt as an outsider; I never felt good in the male side, and I wasn’t obviously in the female side. I was kind of stuck in the middle.”

The question of the fairness of biological males competing in female contests has become a hot button issue, particularly in sports, where it has become increasingly prominent and males often have clear advantages, even when undergoing hormone therapy.

And even then his DNA will identify him as a male. If, years from now, an archaeologist found the bones of a male who transgendered to a female he would automatically identify the bones as those of a man. You cannot change basic DNA or bone structure of a person, male OR female.

Even then, that still doesn’t make him a Miss, that just makes him a man without balls.

Do women not understand in their blind fear of everything including the patriarchy, they are allowing men, to masquerade, compete and deny them things that used to mutually exclusive to women only. They will one day replace you and you will no longer be needed, and all your struggles for rights and what not, will be for nothing because some dude in a dress who does better makeup and hair than you, will have completely replaced you, you will by your own virtue signalling will have caused your own demise.

Wait a minute! This is a Miss Universe Pageant. “Miss” not Transgender. Transgender is male performing as a female. If they continue with this type behavior/guidelines, they need to discontinue with ALL the pageants.

There will be nothing fair about the judging of the Miss Universe Competition. The Transgender entry from Spain will win because Transgenders are the current media and social justice darlings so not winning will cause massive cries of prejudice, bigotry, racism, etc. All protests would be aimed at President Trump. even though he has nothing to do with the competition or judging. Ridiculous, but true.

By the way, Donald Trump does not need a Transgender message of inclusion, respect and diversity. Much as the media tries to malign him, Donald Trump is not a prejudiced, bigoted, racist man.

Then there is the question of fairness. As I said, there will be nothing fair about this judging because the odds are loaded in Miss Spains favor and I will be shocked if Miss Spain does not win. But the fairness of transgender men competing as women in sports is another story. When it comes to sports, DNA should be the deciding factor, not how a person feels. Wonder how women would have felt if they’d had to compete against Caitlin (Bruce) Jenner? All the surgery, drugs, breast enhancement, feminine dress and make-up do not change a man’s DNA, and they do not change, or lessen, his basic strength and stamina.

Dude, you still have that “y” hormone, meaning you’re a MAN, no matter if you did castrate yourself and have artificial boobs implanted. If those other women are honest with themselves, they know they’re pissed that a man could swoop in there and steal that crown from them. Blech, he just looks skanky now, with his fake breasts showing. How sick this world has gotten in the past 50 years. Makes me not so sorry to know that I probably won’t be around much longer. “Come, Lord Jesus, come.”

It’s not fair. Trans people should form their own sports leagues, own beauty pageants, own whatever. It’s not right that males take over female sports. It’s cheating big time. Either stick with boy / girl, or create your own. Trans are NOT “the same as women” unless they have the internal body parts to carry a child.

From what little I’ve heard & read about this insane subject, one simply CANNOT change one’s DNA – the core biology that makes a man a man and a woman a woman. All kinds of surgeries, make-up and whatever else one can do PHYSICALLY, the DNA remains a constant. But if people are happy to live in this delusional world, let them remain ignorant – as long as NO ONE is FORCED to try to change genders!!
